Welcome to the world of theatre! This 5-week course is perfect for a budding theatre beginner. Each week, students will focus on a specific skill. Check out the class descriptions below. Allow your young star to make new friends and try something new while developing their acting skills. This class will culminate in an invited showcase on the final day of class, during which parents can come and watch the students present what they have worked on in class.
Jan 6th STEP INTO THE SPOTLIGHT: Learn to move confidently on stage! Through movement, voice, facial expressions, and imagination, students will create memorable characters and discover how every character has a unique personality, goal, and story.
Jan 13th IMAGINE & IMPROV: Students will explore all things Improv to build confidence and their communication skills while on stage.
Jan 20th MUSICAL THEATRE PERFORMANCE: Students will apply their acting skills to musical theatre by exploring how songs move a story forward. Through song and dace, they'll focus on performing songs with clear intention, storytelling, and character.
Jan 27th THEATRE TALES: From imagination to the stage, students will learn to tell stories through acting, movement, and creative play. They'll learn how characters, settings, and teamwork come together to make unforgettable theatre.
Feb 3rd PLAY, PRETENT, PERFORM: It’s your time to shine. Rehearse and then Showcase your creativity, confidence and performance skills for an audience of friends and family.

Great for beginning students ages 6-9. To ensure a safe and successful experience for all, students must be able to participate independently in the activities and classroom environment.
