Performance Camp

A Musical Theatre intensive camp for actors 8-15 years old ready to hit the stage in a more extended performance! Campers will prepare and perform Winnie The Pooh kids live on the Media Theatre stage! Actors will immerse themselves in the theater world through audition technique classes, rehearsal etiquette instruction, and show preparation.

This two-week camp will begin with each camper participating in an audition process for the show. Each camper will be cast in the show and receive a script. Week one will focus on learning choreography, music, and blocking. In week two, the campers will focus on memorization while putting the production on its feet with costumes and props.

All camps are Monday through Friday. There will be one invited dress rehearsal for family members of campers at 3:00 PM and one ticketed performance of the production on the final Friday of camp, which will be open to the public at 5:00 PM.Camp registration includes a pizza party on the final day of camp and a Camp Media Theatre T-Shirt.

Camp Drop-off is from 9:30 - 10:00 a.m. Pick-up is from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Before/Aftercare hours: 9:00 - 9:30 AM and 4:00 - 4:30 PM. Before/Aftercare is offered at an additional $150 per two weeks and must be purchased for the full camp session. Campers attending before or aftercare should bring items to work on independently. No camper will be allowed at before or aftercare without registration.
