Theatre Class featuring a Staged Reading of Alice by Heart

During this five week theatre class students will audition, rehearse and perform a staged reading of the pop-rock musical of Alice By Heart. Every student signed up for class will perform in the staged reading. The perfect length to delve into acting and voice technique in a relaxed classroom setting.
Classes are 6:30 - 8:30 PM once a week on Wendesdays!
A staged reading is a special kind of performance where actors bring a story to life while still holding their scripts. Instead of elaborate sets and costumes, the focus is on the characters, storytelling, music, and imagination. The staged reading will be accompanied by a live pianist.
When Alice’s best friend Alfred becomes sick, she escapes the chaos of wartime London by opening the book they loved as children: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. But this isn’t the Wonderland she remembers!
As Alice journeys down the rabbit hole, she meets a wacky cast of characters, from the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat to the Mad Hatter and Queen of Hearts. Along the way, Alice discovers friendship, first love, courage, and the power of imagination.
