Spring Break Camp: MONDAY Play Practice
Ages: 6 - 13
$100
Campers will dive into the exciting process of bringing a script to life. The day will start with getting to know your games to create a sense of community and guide us to work together as an ensemble. We will break down the principles of acting while we explore character development, staging, memorization techniques, and ensemble teamwork—all while rehearsing scenes from a play. Whether your child is new to the stage or already loves performing, this camp builds confidence, focus, and collaboration skills in a fun and supportive environment. Join us on March 30th!
Through guided rehearsals and interactive theatre games, campers will:
- Learn rehearsal techniques used by professional actors
- Strengthen voice projection and stage presence
- Practice blocking and movement on stage
- Develop strong, believable characters
Camp drop-off is at 9:00 AM and pick-up is at 3:30 PM. No before or aftercare is offered. Students will be given ample lunch time and a snack break so a packed lunch, water bottle and a snack will need to be provided. No official performance will occur with these camps. Rather than focusing on performance, we’ll spend the day enjoying engaging and creative activities. Some elements from camp may be filmed and emailed to parents to be watched at home.
